Hello everyone! I am back with another outfit post. This one is far more girly than what I tend to wear, but I wanted to try something new. The high collared shirt is one of my favorites, I love the detailing in the front.
Whenever I wear it I remember my birthday, that was when I bought it. I wanted to buy clothes that I usually stray away from, and I am glad I did.
My personal style is always changing depending on how I feel. It can be girly and feminine, with skirts and dresses, or very casual with jeans and a tshirt.
Whatever I wear, it is important for me to feel comfortable, that I feel good in the clothes, that it is not too loose or too tight. Sometimes I want to wear different clothes, shirts that I can tuck in to my jeans, shirts that are cropped at the belly button. I am not completely comfortable with crop tops at the moment, but I wanted to try them out and see what kind of style I like.
Let me know what kind of style you like to wear.
Happy Wednesday everyone, and welcome to my third day of straight blogging. Doing this has been kind of difficult, especially since I don’t come up with topics very easily.
I want to talk about these photos. These were taken after I went to my old roommates graduation. She was graduating with a bachelor of psychology, and I am so proud of her. She is such a strong, beautiful, independent, smart woman that has achieved so much. Being there to support her was such an amazing feeling, even if we didn’t see her in her cap and gown because of the large amount of people attending.
Luckily we were able to see her at her party, finally meeting her family and celebrating all her accomplishments.
As I end finals for spring term, I begin to realize how much I miss being on vacation in New Orleans. For my 21st birthday I spent time in NOLA, spending time in museums and cafes with amazing food.
Going to a new place reminded me of how beautiful different parts of the country are. There was so many different places that were full of amazing food, art and culture. I had never seen so many bright buldings, I loved how varied the scenery was.
I always travel to the same places with my family: California and Mexico. This was the first time I had ever flown on an airplane, and I love the feeling of it. Being on an airplane gave me time to relax, and just think about all the fun I would be having in a new place.
We had a beautiful air bnb that we rented, and we spent time cooking at night to try and save money once we realized all that we had spent at restaurants. Being away from home was exciting, everything was new and so interesting.
One of the pictures below is of beignets, which are infamous in New Orleans. We went to Café Du Monde on several occasions, including the day my twin and I turned 21.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your weekend was great and yours a lot of fun. I’ve been working, and watching movies now that I have the time to since I’m on spring break.
A couple of days before the term ended, my friend Vivian and I went on a mission to help me get out of my comfort zone. It wasn’t as easy as I thought, but I tried. Cute boys make me nervous, so I wasn’t able to make a move, but hey, the food was good. After we ate for the sole purpose of getting the waiter’s attention, we went to try on clothes we always wanted to try.
Luckily, I found some pants I’ve seen pictures of and have always wanted to try on. These were gray, which I never thought of when it came to pants like these, but I liked how they looked with the belt. The shirt I was wearing in the pictures is from free people, that my older sister bought and sold to me since she no longer wanted it.
This outfit reminds me of an outfit I would wear when I want to wear something that is out of my comfort zone in terms of the clothing I wear since this isn’t just my regular jeans and a top. I wore the vans, which made the outfit more authentic to my style.
It was interesting when I was taking these pictures because I realized I was wearing fuzzy socks my once roommate gave me and I did not realize that until o was taking the pictures, but it reminds me of how comfort is always important, and I wear wacky stuff every so often.
Thank you so much for reading this post and have a great week!
Hi everyone! Hope your Monday is going great and you’re having fun so far this week. I haven’t posted in about a week since I just had a final about an hour ago.
This weekend was me studying for this exams, barely going on Instagram or my blog, but checking Twitter more than I care to admit. I wanted to share with you guys an outfit I wore a couple of weeks ago.
I often take outfit pictures daily to have more than one post planned out, with at least the visuals selected. I take a lot of pictures in different areas, to give my Instagram feed variety and show off my lovely surroundings. This I took in my backyard, where my dad is currently building a lounge like area where all my family can come when we went to spend time together.
I will admit, I should have moved the chair out to the side, but there are so many imperfections in my backgrounds that I just figured I would keep it, even if no one clicks like if I post one of these on Instagram. I’ve always kept things in my pictures that made it more real, not everything perfectly placed because I am such a messy person and I am not creative when it comes to things like flatlays.
These pictures vary from the jacket I have on to what I have in my hands. I love bananas, and one of my favorite artists (aminé) uses them as a prop to his music, and I love that idea so I tried to incorporate them in my look, maybe it worked. What do you think?
Have a good day, and I’ll go back to studying for my last final tommorrow.
Let me know what quirky props you’ve used in flatlays or outfit photos in the comments below ❤️
