Baker hats

This outfit I would consider a mix of both, the baker hat makes it more street style, more stylish than other outfits I’ve worn. I found this cream colored shirt in my sisters closet and was really excited to wear it. I know I can style this shirt an a variety of ways and I’m excited to found out what works best for me.

This year is gonna be full of taking risks, and I am starting with my style. I hope that people look at my style and see an outfit idea, or perhaps just something they’ve never tried before. The sky’s the limit. Let’s go and inspire those around us.

It’s a new year

It’s here! 2018 has started and I can not be more excited. It’s funny how much can change in a year.

I’m living back home again and going to a community college. This is exactly what I need right now, and I could not be more thankful for the year I had. I got to do so many amazing things, and I hope 2018 helps me grow as a person and as a blogger.

I wanted to thank every single one of you that liked, commented or simply viewed my content. I will make sure to dedicate more time to this craft I love. Let’s see where the year takes us.

Christmas Eve

Hello everyone! Today is Christmas Eve! I am so happy that I get to celebrate tonight with my family. We get to eat great food and enjoy each other’s company. With Christmas comes gifts, and after many target runs I got some presents I hope my family will truly enjoy.

I’m still debating whether or not I want to get some more gifts for them before we open them at midnight. They are just so wonderful I wish I could buy them so much!

Just thinking back to New Orleans makes me realize how blessed I am. I spent a great week exploring the French quarter, eating beignets at cafe du monde was an experience in itself. It’s such a classic place I had to dress as well as I could. I finally used the off the shoulder top I was too nervous to wear at home and wore it around the streets of New Orleans. We all took so many pictures, and how could I resist such a sunny day and a corner table? The blogger in me was just waiting for a photogenic moment & I got it!

I am feeling so much love in the air. I’m happy, healthy and lucky enough to still be in school. I hope you all enjoy your holidays as well.

Birthday

I turned 21 while on a trip to New Orleans. I wanted to go to a museum, and that’s exactly what we did. I wore my newest shirt and felt really beautiful that day. We did a lot, including finding out that Kendrick Lamar was in town. Sadly, I did not meet him. Overall, my birthday was a success. I saw art, something I’ve started to really like and find interesting. Especially since the museum was divided by time periods.

Casual

When I have a 10 am class, sometimes I feel like going to class in casual clothing. Something warm that I can be comfortable in all day. This was no exception. What was different is I tried to still be stylish, streetwear is one of my favorite types of outfits. I paired my thin black sweatpants with adidas, a forever21 top and Tommy Hilfiger hat. I finally bought this hat after seeing it at a mall last year, I love the minimal look of it. I hope you are all having a wonderful week!

Trying new things

Good morning everyone! Hope you’re having a lovely Sunday! Here is my latest outfit posts wearing one of my favorite shirts. When I bought this shirt I was kind of nervous, it looked so small and it felt risqué when I tried it on. I wanted to push my comfort levels a bit with this purchase, and I did. I definitely felt really feminine when I wore it, I love how it fits and how I automatically feel more confident wearing it. I wore high wasted jeans and Birkenstocks with them, to keep it more casual.
