Happy Monday everyone! I hope your weekend was great and yours a lot of fun. I’ve been working, and watching movies now that I have the time to since I’m on spring break.
A couple of days before the term ended, my friend Vivian and I went on a mission to help me get out of my comfort zone. It wasn’t as easy as I thought, but I tried. Cute boys make me nervous, so I wasn’t able to make a move, but hey, the food was good. After we ate for the sole purpose of getting the waiter’s attention, we went to try on clothes we always wanted to try.
Luckily, I found some pants I’ve seen pictures of and have always wanted to try on. These were gray, which I never thought of when it came to pants like these, but I liked how they looked with the belt. The shirt I was wearing in the pictures is from free people, that my older sister bought and sold to me since she no longer wanted it.
This outfit reminds me of an outfit I would wear when I want to wear something that is out of my comfort zone in terms of the clothing I wear since this isn’t just my regular jeans and a top. I wore the vans, which made the outfit more authentic to my style.
It was interesting when I was taking these pictures because I realized I was wearing fuzzy socks my once roommate gave me and I did not realize that until o was taking the pictures, but it reminds me of how comfort is always important, and I wear wacky stuff every so often.
Thank you so much for reading this post and have a great week!
This outfit I would consider a mix of both, the baker hat makes it more street style, more stylish than other outfits I’ve worn. I found this cream colored shirt in my sisters closet and was really excited to wear it. I know I can style this shirt an a variety of ways and I’m excited to found out what works best for me.
This year is gonna be full of taking risks, and I am starting with my style. I hope that people look at my style and see an outfit idea, or perhaps just something they’ve never tried before. The sky’s the limit. Let’s go and inspire those around us.
Happy weekend! It’s finally Saturday. This week has been different, at least academically speaking.
I took my first exam in the term on Monday and saw a large amount of improvement from my first to last attempt. That just shows that I have to work as hard as I can to pass this math class and get closer to my goal. This being my third year in college, I still find myself lacking the focus I need to get through courses. I know it’s not easy, so I have to dedicate time to making sure I get the results I want.
Balancing school, work and a social life can be hard, but I want to also take time to up my blogging. To give you all the content you deserve. Thank you all for continuously supporting me! It means so much!
It’s here! 2018 has started and I can not be more excited. It’s funny how much can change in a year.
I’m living back home again and going to a community college. This is exactly what I need right now, and I could not be more thankful for the year I had. I got to do so many amazing things, and I hope 2018 helps me grow as a person and as a blogger.
I wanted to thank every single one of you that liked, commented or simply viewed my content. I will make sure to dedicate more time to this craft I love. Let’s see where the year takes us.
Hello everyone! I hope you’re Christmas celebrations where filled with love and joy. Mine were full of my family, spending time with them and enjoying all the love I have in my life. I am so thankful to have them, to have such amazing support in all my endeavors, no matter what they are.
I’m excited for 2018, to focus on my love of fashion and see where my hard work can take me. Here’s to many goals in the future!
Hello everyone! Today is Christmas Eve! I am so happy that I get to celebrate tonight with my family. We get to eat great food and enjoy each other’s company. With Christmas comes gifts, and after many target runs I got some presents I hope my family will truly enjoy.
I’m still debating whether or not I want to get some more gifts for them before we open them at midnight. They are just so wonderful I wish I could buy them so much!
Just thinking back to New Orleans makes me realize how blessed I am. I spent a great week exploring the French quarter, eating beignets at cafe du monde was an experience in itself. It’s such a classic place I had to dress as well as I could. I finally used the off the shoulder top I was too nervous to wear at home and wore it around the streets of New Orleans. We all took so many pictures, and how could I resist such a sunny day and a corner table? The blogger in me was just waiting for a photogenic moment & I got it!
I am feeling so much love in the air. I’m happy, healthy and lucky enough to still be in school. I hope you all enjoy your holidays as well.
