Good morning everyone! Happy Monday! These last few weeks have been filled with exams, quizzes and papers. I am over half way done with this term and everything Is coming to fruition in rather quickly. I’ve been spending most of my days sitting in my room trying to study for all my classes, and ultimately picking one over the other which I have tried to get better at.
This post is something I just wanted to share when I was bored laying in bed probably just going through my phone instead of studying.
My window is a rather big in my room and the light comes through the curtain we got. I moved some things off my sisters white desk. I used my self timer to take these pictures because I wanted to have mini photo shoot in a room with the desk in with the chair we had bought.
I took some pictures of me in this dress I bought from forever 21 wearing make up I had done five minutes before to take these pictures. I love how makeup looks in the sun light, especially highlighter.
Let me know what you think of this outfit and what if you’ve done any impromptu photo shoots you’ve ended up really enjoying.
Happy Thursday! I am currently working on my biology study guides that are in due in two weeks. This course is quite hard, so I have to focus and make sure I get the grade I want.
With that being said, I know that means a lot of time spent working on homework.
This outfit is one I wore after classes, when I was done with my day and wanted to spend some time with my twin. She (and the rest of my family but my older sister) are in California.
This is my version of a sunny place, and I can’t wait to be able to hangout with friends without having to stay home to study. I have taken more outfit pictures that I am quite excited about. Let me know what you think of this outfit below. Have a great day!
Hello! I have been rather busy with schoolwork at the moment. Last week I had tests to take and this week I have quizzes so I have not been updating my blog as much.
This outfit is one I wore about two weeks ago. The weather has gotten very sunny so I was trying out different outfits, this being one of them. This top is from forever21, I bought it on a shopping trip with my friends. It’s not one I wear often, but when I do I like it to be the center of my outfit. It’s such a beautiful silk with my favorite color. Every time I wear this shirt it makes me feel so put together, as compared to this moment where I am wearing running shorts and a sweater knowing it is gonna get hotter once my classes end. Which is why I have black and white shorts and a denim shirt in my backpack. I promise I am not always such a mess.
I hope you all have a great week. Leave me your comments on your favorite piece of clothing that makes you feel even more confident.

Happy Monday everyone! Sorry for being so inactive, I’ve had tests to study for and between that and work it’s been a crazy week.
I am back with a basic outfit I have never worn before. I love wearing black tank tops as shirts, and I dresses it up with my go to light wash denim jacket, ripped jeans and the vans I wear all the time. I was really busy on Thursday so I didn’t have time to put any makeup on, besides I don’t wear it too often so it wasn’t anything new to go makeup less.
I am so excited for spring! It is gonna be in the 80’s here in Oregon and I can’t wait to bring out my skirts and dresses that have been neglected for months!
Stay tuned for some spring outfits x
Hi everyone! Happy April! I can’t believe it is already April! It’s gonna be an amazing month, since today is the first day of my new term!
It has been quite interesting this year, I’ve tried time and time again to reach my goals and I am reminded that rewards do not come easy, so I have to truly realize how much I want something and go after it.
This college degree has been kicking my butt since 2015, but I will not give up. All the nights filled with emotions will lead me to a better future, even if it takes longer than 4 years. I know some may think I am wasting my time, but it will be worth it when I am doing what I love for the rest of my life. As I move forward in my education, I’ve been faced with reevaluating what exactly that is.
Do I love history or fashion more? The safe option is history, where I can work in museums to help design them and appropriately try and represent different cultures from around the world. I already know so much history, it’s engraved in my mind from high school. It gives me such an amazing feeling to know I am learning about those before me and what their lives were like.
Fashion is my one true love. Since I discovered weworewhat I loved the idea of working in fashion, especially if that meant I could share my personal style and make a living that way. Fast forward 5 years after making this blog, and I am no where close to that goal, but here I am, still thinking about the day I can finally write a sponsored post. I understand that might never happen, so I focus on something that is a sure thing, such as a history degree.
Well , thank you for reading my thoughts. Let me know any suggestions you may have on my career goals.
Happy Monday everyone! I hope your weekend was great and yours a lot of fun. I’ve been working, and watching movies now that I have the time to since I’m on spring break.
A couple of days before the term ended, my friend Vivian and I went on a mission to help me get out of my comfort zone. It wasn’t as easy as I thought, but I tried. Cute boys make me nervous, so I wasn’t able to make a move, but hey, the food was good. After we ate for the sole purpose of getting the waiter’s attention, we went to try on clothes we always wanted to try.
Luckily, I found some pants I’ve seen pictures of and have always wanted to try on. These were gray, which I never thought of when it came to pants like these, but I liked how they looked with the belt. The shirt I was wearing in the pictures is from free people, that my older sister bought and sold to me since she no longer wanted it.
This outfit reminds me of an outfit I would wear when I want to wear something that is out of my comfort zone in terms of the clothing I wear since this isn’t just my regular jeans and a top. I wore the vans, which made the outfit more authentic to my style.
It was interesting when I was taking these pictures because I realized I was wearing fuzzy socks my once roommate gave me and I did not realize that until o was taking the pictures, but it reminds me of how comfort is always important, and I wear wacky stuff every so often.
Thank you so much for reading this post and have a great week!
Happy Saturday everyone! I hope your week was great and your weekend even better. I’ve been in class and working on school work for the week, gearing up to take finals in about 2 weeks.
It’s crazy to think about how fast my term has gone, but I’m glad I’ve focused and been able to keep my grades to a high level recently.
I have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays so after class I hangout downtown in my city. It is always fun to walk around and find amazing backgrounds for my pictures, and it encourages me to be confident in taking outfit pictures even if people are around. A couple of weeks ago my twin and I went to buy milkshakes and go to the library for a bit. It was really fun to try different places and take outfit pictures.
I wore a trench coat that I got from a family friend 2 years ago. I guess that reminds me that I’m the same size now as I was then. I wore it with a sweater I bought at goodwill, jeans from TJMAXX and my vans. I don’t usually wear this trench coat since it can be really thick and often feel heavy but it was freezing so it worked that day. I’ve always wanted to buy more thin trench coats that are camel & black colors, just classic ones I can wear all the time.
This year I’ve been trying to venture out in my personal style and wear clothes that is both comfortable but also stylish, to wear different types of pants such as cargo pants, culottes, jeans with different designs like flares or straight down instead of the usual skinny jeans I wear. I have so many clothes I don’t want to just donate it all, I want to see what I can wear with it and how I can improve my style without having to buy a large amount of clothes.
Hello! This past weekend I went to a Portland trailblazers game (a basketball team if you were wondering) and it was really fun to share this experience for the first time with my younger brother.
I realize I’ve had this blog for 5 years but would forgot about it for such a long time that I’ve never posted anything other than my school life and my fashion inspiration. Well there is so much more to me, including my love of sports.
Whenever I go to Portland I love taking pictures, it is such an artistic place and the scenery is amazing. Yet every time I go its to one specific place for a few hours and back home again so I never really get to walk around and see what the city is really like. Either way, I wore a really nice outfit. It was a red and white Adidas shirt with black jeans, I thin black and white cardigan and my Adidas.
These pair of shoes are my favorite piece in my closet. They are white with hints of cream next to the shoelaces, and I can never get over how crisp and clean they are. I realized I took pictures at night with the flash on when I could of taken these exact ones during the day with natural lighting. Who knows, maybe I’ll wear this outfit again and take clear pictures with my camera. Whatever happens, I love this color combination. Black and white go with everything, and red is my favorite color ever so why not?
What are your favorite articles of clothing in your closet? Let me know in the comments!
