Twenty Øne Piløts concert

It finally happened!

After years of listening to the band Twenty One Piløts I finally made it to one of their live concerts!

I wanted to make sure I got tickets so I register through Ticketmaster and was able to buy tickets before the general sale.

I got some good seats, making sure I avoided the floor since I didn’t want to stand all night surrounded by way too many people and not being able to really move.

I bought the tickets and found friends to go with. After waiting for so long, the day finally arrived. I was so excited I could barely sleep or sit through my biology class.

Whenever I go to concerts I get zero pictures, and I wanted this to be an exception. The first pictures are the outfit I had originally planned to wear, but the pants were too baggy so I put on black jeans instead.

After my best friend Brenda and I took forever doing our makeup, my coworker Todd came to pick us up and head to Portland. I was surprised at the amount of people going to the concert, but was excited to finally hear the music I had been replaying on spotify for months.

When we go to the venue after waiting in line for about 20 minutes, we went into the Moda Center. The opening acts seemed to last hours, especially since I wasn’t too familiar with their music.

The lights went out, and I saw a torch at the stage. There they were, Tyler and Josh! I was in disbelief, trying to comprehend that they were in the same room. The music started, and it is safe to say, I had the best concert experience thus far.

Everything about the concert was amazing, especially the graphics, colors and use of props to relate to their songs. If you ever have the chance to see Twenty One Pilots, take it! Even if you dont know a lot of their music, you’ll still enjoy the energy they exude.

Thank you for reading my rant about the concert. Have a great day

Its beanie season

Hello everyone! It has been some time since I uploaded a blog post. Winter term was a crazy three months, but I am back with another outfit post.

I was shopping with my friend, and whenever we go to the mall I always shop at Zumiez. I ended up buying this adidas beanie as well as two different shirts. I was excited to make those purchases since I always try clothes on but never end up buying the clothes I tried on.

Being the blogger that I am, my friend took pictures of me after buying the items from Zumiez. I was excited to see how it would look, especially since I dont usually wear slouchy beanies.

This shopping trip was a break from my usual routine, which was going to class and working at the end of the week. Lately I’ve been making sure to give myself time to relax and hangout with friends.

My classes were overwhelming at times, but I was able to get through them. I wrote multiple papers and had speeches to give, which really pushed me to get as many points as I could since those aren’t my strongest qualities about being a student.

I ended up getting a passing grade in my biology class after retaking it this term, which is all I could ask for.

Thank you for reading this post, see you on the next one.

Athleisure

Hello, and welcome to another post. I have not been as consistent with posting as the summer draws to a close, making sure I savor every last second before classes start in a couple of hours.

I wanted to share this outfit, something that encompasses my summer style. On Instagram and tumblr I’ve seen crop tops and shorts, tube tops and summer dresses, which are all beautiful pieces of clothing. I wear shorts and dresses, but not many crop tops. Whenever I want to dress lazy but still look cute, this is my go to outfit. Adidas sweatpants with vans and a tank top.

My twin, mom and I were spending our morning walking downtown, spending time together before I had to work in the evening. I wanted something that I could move around with, but also something that made me feel.. well sexy. Tying a shirt like this always brings me more confidence, and the sunglasses and bag makes me feel more put together than I thought I was in that moment.

Well with this look, I bide summer goodbye, bring on fall fashion x IMG_8505IMG_8520IMG_8509

New Experiences

Hello everyone and welcome to my newest post. I was looking through my pictures and found an outfit I was really excited about. Lately I’ve been trying to be more perceptive about my surroundings, trying to find a diamond in the rough.

I was hanging out with my friend and I really wanted a crepe, so we went to an antique store that has a gelato shop in the front part. Sadly, there were no crepes, but there was an opportunity to try some gelato for the first time. The gelato was really good, and was much thinner than ice cream so I had to eat it quickly, which is difficult for someone who eats as slowly as me.

We walked through the store, and was drawn to the highly decorated walls, full of art from all places of the world. I was mentally figuring out where I wanted to take pictures holding my ice cream, and went to sit where the art was being hung, making sure I got a good picture with both my dress and the art hanging behind me.

My town of Salem, Oregon has a couple of antique stores, and this was one I had never been to before. There was so many different things to look at, from desks and books to their own collection of gift cards. Being a history major, I was like a kid in a candy store. I found items dating back to the 60’s, that were conserved so well over time. As time goes on I’ve noticed how historic my city is, being the capital of Oregon has led to antique stores, travel areas and more modern cafes and restaurants, which make great backgrounds for outfit pictures. A simple button up

Hello everyone! Summer is almost coming to a close and I wanted to share with you an outfit I am really excited about.

I have always loved menswear inspired outfits. Guys always seem to be so put together, even in such simple outfits. I haven’t had a button up I’ve ever been really in love with.. until now.

I was rummaging through a friends closet when I found this shirt, with a tag and all. It was a great find from Nordstrom’s that I was excited to give a feminine twist. I wore it with shorts and my all white adidas, which most of you know how rarely I wear. I loved the subtle stripes, especially with the bolder accessories I chose to wear.

My gold hoop earrings and tiny sunglasses are my staple pieces at the moment, and I would not have it any other way. The accessories worn always complete an outfit, and I love how even with them my outfit was still very laid back.

When my friend and I were out to lunch we walked around to find locations to take my outfit pictures at and I was pleasantly surprised with how well she took them. It was really hot while we took the pictures and I ended up taking a couple more before we tried to find an air conditioned room.

Also, if you’re gonna buy a $3 cupcake, dont be like me and take 2 bites before throwing it away.

Have a great day and see you next time.

Free People find

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I am excited to talk about this outfit, especially because it is the first item of clothing I’ve ever been given to from my older sister. She went shopping and the shirt was too small so she gave it to me. I am so glad she did because it made me reevaluate how I looked at my sense of style.

This shirt is far more risqué than what I am used to wearing. This shirt is meant to be worn without a bra, which is already a step away from what I usually wear. The back is open, with a tie on both the top and bottom. Nonetheless, I love the way they shirt has the ruffles below the sheer lace, it acts as a divider between sheer and dark fabric. The flower details are my favorite, they make the shirt so much more feminine. The straps are rather long at the end of the sleeves, but they are a nice addition.

I wore this shirt with shorts and vans, since I wanted this to be the focal point. I always tend to figure out one piece to wear and create my outfit around that, most of the time it is the shirt. I wear a shirt I like, and I figure out what would look stylish in terms of shoes and jeans.

With this outfit, It was soooo hot out that I knew I had to wear shorts no matter what. These are shorts I dont usually wear, so I chose these. The vans always make my outfits feel more casual, even with such a top like this. I like that there was something very casual such as the shoes, but also something very intricate by wearing the shirt. I used an ascot as a hair tie, and wore my go to tiny sunglasses to make this outfit cooler. When in doubt, wear tiny sunglasses.

Let me know what you think of this outfit, and if you like my shirt from free people. Have a great day
